Using and Integrating The Korg EMX2 Electribe Music Production Station In Logic Pro X March 4, 2015 22:13

Hi everyone,
In this video I will be showing you how I've got my Korg EMX2 Electribe Music Production Station set up and integrated with my iMac and Logic Pro X, as well as my Mackie 1202 VLZ mixer and my Roland Juno G as a Midi controller.

I talk about both the midi and audio connections, how I can use midi and the piano roll in Logic to control and trigger the EMX as well as how I can record everything I do into Logic when I'm ready.

I hope this video will help anyone out there trying to integrate the EMX2 into their setup and give ideas on how it can be used within an existing setup.

Building A Chilled R&B Beat on the Korg Electribe EMX2 Music Production Station - Melo Drama March 4, 2015 22:10

This is my first full beat/song/composition on the Korg Electribe EMX2 using all custom synth parts and sounds built from the internal synth engine.
In this video I freestyle the whole arrangement using the part mute function and throw in some on the fly pitch bending and Modulation Delay FX.

Day 1 issues with the Korg Electribe Music Production Station EMX2 March 4, 2015 22:09

So last night I unboxed my EMX2 and had a good old play around with it.
It is definitely a very cool machine to work with however, I did run into a few issues that make the Korg a little annoying to work with. So I've made this video to show you those issues I've found in the hope that they will both inform you about the machine and give you insight into what you may run into. If you've managed to solve any of the issues, please leave a comment and let me know what you did to overcome them.

Get Apple Certified In Logic Pro X With Home Studio Stuff part.1 March 4, 2015 22:05

Welcome to the first in a new series of videos I will be making where I go through the Apple Pro Training Series training book Logic Pro X Professional Music Production by David Nahmani as I go through the book to prepare for taking the Logic Pro X certified exam.

The point is to go through each part of the book with you guys so we can all learn together and get up to the required standard for becoming Apple Certified in Logic Pro X.

In this first session our aims are:

To produce a one minute instrumental piece using prerecorded media

Explore the Logic Pro X main window interface

Navigate and zoom the workspace

Move, Copy, Loop and trim regions in the workspace

Mix down the project and apply effect plug-ins

Export the project to an MP3 file

I encourage any of you to purchase the book so you have access to all the content and lesson files that are available as you won't be able to complete some of the future sessions without them.

Yamaha PSS 480 Portasound Music Station Vintage Synthesizer Keyboard March 4, 2015 22:01

I picked up this vintage Yamaha PSS 480 Portasound Music Station keyboard really cheap on ebay recently and decided I would bring you guys a little look of my first impressions and play on the machine.

I think its a pretty good little synth that will break in a real beginner into the synth world and add at least 99 new preset sample patches and an almost unlimited number of your own sounds through the simple yet effective synthesis engine.

Enjoy the video and comment, like & sub if you haven't already.

A demonstration and review of the iKaossilator from Korg running on an iPhone 5C January 2, 2015 02:00

I bring you a relatively short video demonstration and review of the cool Korg iKaossilator app. I am using iKaossilator on the iPhone 5c and it runs well with little to no lag or delay anytime I am using it.
On this particular occasion the upload to sound cloud function didn't seem to be working properly but, I have used it at least twice successfully in the past.
This is a great little app for getting your creative juices flowing anywhere you can use a phone and has the potential to make some really nice stuff. Whilst it is limited to 190 stock sounds which includes an additional EDM PACK OF 40 sounds, you can in fact import your own WAV and a few other format sounds to bring even more possibilities to the app.
You can also export sounds to an ableton project in sets of 4 bars and then join these exports up to build up a full track which is great.
All in all a good and easy to use app that is fun to use and can produce some real nice sounding stuff.
